Abelson Sports, a leading sports betting data provider, has strengthened its internal team with the appointment of two highly experienced industry figures, Mikey Mumford and Richard Evison, as Senior Football Traders.
Together bringing more than 35 years of trading experience, the duo will play a pivotal role in supporting Abelson’s continued expansion in football player props and stats-based betting markets.
Mumford joins from Sky Bet, where he spent over a decade helping to shape the brand’s football proposition during its rise to become one of the most widely recognised betting brands in the UK.
He played a key role in the creation and evolution of the widely popular RequestABet and BuildABet products, and was instrumental in delivering Sky Bet’s EFL sponsorship-driven football strategy.
Evison also arrives with deep industry experience, having spent 25 years at Sky Bet and its predecessor Surrey Sports.
Over the course of his career, he has led pre-match and ante-post football trading, helped build out the operator’s transfer and manager markets, and played a key role in the development of its match stats proposition.
The appointments further strengthen Abelson Sports’ global trading infrastructure as the company continues to develop its ODDS, DATA and TECH capabilities in response to growing demand from tier-one operators for innovative and reliable pricing solutions.
