The General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA) in the UAE is planning to issue a single online gambling license to each of the seven emirates.
VIXIO GamblingCompliance first published the news, implying that the regulator looks set to follow a similar approach for land-based casinos. The only project to get the green light so far is a Wynn Resorts casino in Ras Al Khaimah, which is expected to open in early 2027.
